How it works
From first login to a community that runs on one record.
Adoption is the hard part of any community software, so it is worth being concrete about what actually happens — what we do, what we need from you, and what is true at the end of each step.
Your committee gets set up
- What we do
- We provision your community's account and issue the first admin logins to your office-bearers.
- What we need from you
- Tell us the society name, and who should hold the first administrator accounts.
- What's true afterwards
- The Secretary or President can sign in and start configuring, with nobody else able to see anything yet.
Configure your property
- What we do
- We set up the structure your community actually has, rather than forcing it into a template.
- What we need from you
- The real layout — blocks or towers, floors, unit numbering, and unit types. If your numbering is irregular, that is fine; it usually is.
- What's true afterwards
- Every unit exists as a real record, which is what billing, visitor approval and occupancy reporting all hang off later.
Add your people
- What we do
- Accounts are created against roles, so access follows the office rather than the individual.
- What we need from you
- Residents and their units, committee members and their posts, security staff, on-site staff, and any vendors you work with regularly.
- What's true afterwards
- Each person sees exactly what their role needs — a guard sees the gate, a resident sees their own unit, the treasurer sees the books.
Run day-to-day operations
- What we do
- Nothing further is required from us; the product is in your community's hands.
- What we need from you
- Start with whichever pain is loudest. Most communities begin with visitors at the gate or with billing, then add the rest once people trust it.
- What's true afterwards
- Visitor entries, helpdesk requests, facility bookings, staff attendance and dues are all recorded as they happen, on web and mobile.
Govern with a real record
- What we do
- The governance trail accumulates on its own as you use it.
- What we need from you
- Post notices, call meetings, and put resolutions to a vote in the product rather than in a WhatsApp thread.
- What's true afterwards
- Decisions, votes, minutes and accounts stay with the community — findable next year, and at handover to the next committee.
One honest note
You do not have to adopt all of it at once.
Communities that try to switch everything in one week usually stall. The modules work independently — start with the one causing the most friction, get people used to it, and add the next when there is appetite for it.
