The realityAn Indian residents' association is a self-governing body. Office-bearers are elected, serve a term, and are accountable to the members who elected them. Authority is delegated, not owned.

In the productRoles map to real offices — President, Secretary, Treasurer, committee member, care taker, security — and permissions follow the office rather than the person. When the term ends, the role is reassigned and the access moves with it.

The realityIndian households already pay for nearly everything by UPI. Asking a resident to enter card details to pay maintenance dues adds friction that has nothing to do with the product.

In the productDues are collected over UPI, with per-unit billing rules, receipts, and a defaulters view for the treasurer — plus financial-period closing for when the books actually have to balance at year end.
